KIMBERLY JOY MORGAN

Every student has a story to tell, characters living within that want to speak. I believe the performing arts are an incredible path students can walk, run, dance, and skip upon to find their creative spirits. I know conventional learning environments don’t always foster this type of creative expression, so it’s the responsibility of the professional artist to bridge the gap between the arts and traditional classroom learning.

During my residency students explore self through theatre games, improvisation, creative writing and adaptation. The process will engage the whole being resulting in an amazing creative voice an appreciation for traditional and contemporary material. I have a great awareness for what it takes to encourage the conception of artistic ideas and help deliver amazing stories from within.
